Last week, we learned that director Scott Derrickson’s adaptation of Joe Hill’s story The Black Phone would be released digitally today, August 12. Starting today, the movie is also streaming exclusively on the Peacock service! It’s here for Peacock subscribers to enjoy.

Is “The Black Phone” available to stream?

As of this writing, The Black Phone is still in theaters and not available to stream, not yet, anyway. The film will arrive on Peacock approximately 45 days after its theatrical release on June 24, 2022, as part of a deal between the NBC streaming service and Universal Pictures. There’s no official air date yet, but it’s likely to hit Peacock in August. Other movies like Ambulance and The 355 are also included in the deal.
